Progression Guide

Build a Better Route

Progression is easiest when you know what each stage is trying to teach you: income, unlocks, collection, and long-term scaling.

Early Game: Stabilize Income

In the opening stage, focus on upgrades that make every catch more useful. Avoid chasing every menu at once. Your main goal is to create a reliable income base, learn how idle rewards accumulate, and unlock the first meaningful expansion paths.

Middle Game: Chase Unlocks

Once basic income feels stable, progression often depends on unlock conditions. New regions, stronger fish, collection records, or aquarium improvements can shift your best farming location. Re-check older menus after each unlock because new options can change upgrade value.

Collection Progress

The fish book is more than a checklist. It helps you understand which areas still contain missing catches and whether your current power level is enough for the fish you are targeting. If progress slows, collection clues can point to the next useful upgrade.

Long-Term Planning

Later progress is usually about compounding systems. Improvements to equipment, character strength, skill value, and aquarium rewards may interact. When deciding between expensive upgrades, choose the one that improves your broadest bottleneck.

A good progression routine: collect, review caps, buy one high-impact upgrade, test the strongest useful area, then step away until the next check-in.
